How do I know if I need a PC or DI head?

Look at your engine’s fuel system. If your cylinder head has glow plugs installed directly into the head and uses indirect injection (fuel goes into a pre-chamber first), you need this 8N1187 PC head. If your injectors spray directly onto the piston and you have no glow plugs in the head, you need the DI version (8N6796).

Does this head include the pre-combustion chambers?

No, the 8N1187 is sold as a bare casting. The pre-combustion chambers (pre-cups), glow plugs, valves, and springs must be transferred from your old head or purchased separately. We recommend installing new pre-cups to ensure a proper seal.

Will this fit my 3304PC engine?

No. While they share the same design philosophy, the 3304 is a 4-cylinder engine and the 3306 is a 6-cylinder. The heads are not interchangeable. For 3304PC, you need part number 8N1188.
