No, this is a critical distinction. The MD021500 is specifically for the industrial 8-valve SOHC 4G63 used in forklifts. The high-performance 16-valve DOHC turbocharged 4G63T in the Lancer EVO uses a completely different crankshaft profile with different counterweights and balancing for its higher redline. This part is not interchangeable.
Bearing spin is caused by a loss of the oil film between the journal and bearing, leading to metal-on-metal contact.
