The Nissan Navara D40 Turbocharger (OEM: 14411-EB300) is a VNT unit specifically engineered for Thai-built D40 and Pathfinder R51 models. Featuring an anti-seize mechanism and K18 Inconel turbine, it definitively resolves “Limp Mode” and carbon-lock issues in high-mileage diesel engines. In stock for global wholesale.
The Thai-built Nissan Navara D40 is a heavy-duty powerhouse, but engine rebuilders know that its forced induction system is highly specific. The 14411-EB300 turbocharger utilizes a VNT (Variable Nozzle Turbine) configuration that requires exact calibration to operate correctly within the Navara’s common-rail fuel system.
Over time, these units are prone to VNT vane seizure due to diesel soot contamination, which forces the engine into “Limp Mode” as the ECU detects fluctuating boost pressure. Ruich Value’s replacement turbocharger is engineered to outlast the OEM unit. We integrate high-temperature resistant nozzle alloys to prevent carbon-lock and ensure that the VNT geometry stays responsive under the heavy towing loads typical of D40 commercial use. Every unit is VSR-balanced to eliminate the high-frequency vibration that kills internal journal bearings.

This is a critical distinction. The Thai-built D40 (OEM 14411-EB300) and European/Spanish-built D40s have subtle but incompatible variations in the VNT vacuum actuator mounting brackets and oil feed flange angles. Always verify your VIN or the physical OEM plate on your old turbo before ordering to ensure exact alignment.
Limp mode in the D40 is almost always triggered by VNT vane stiction (carbon-lock). When soot builds up around the variable nozzles, the vanes stick. The ECU detects that boost pressure is either overshooting or lagging and cuts fueling to protect the engine. Replacing the turbo with an anti-seize upgraded unit is the only permanent fix.
Yes. In regions with lower-quality or high-sulfur diesel, the combustion process produces excessive, sticky soot. This soot travels directly through the exhaust manifold into the turbo’s VNT housing, accelerating the carbon-lock process. Our upgraded VNT mechanism is specifically treated to resist this heavy soot accumulation.
While chemical cleaning or manual scraping can temporarily free the vanes, it removes the factory clearance tolerances and anti-friction coatings. In a commercial or heavy-towing D40, a cleaned turbo will typically seize again within a few months. A complete replacement with a pre-calibrated actuator is the industry standard for reliable repair.
You must replace the oil feed line—never attempt to reuse or clean the old one, as hidden sludge will starve the new journal bearings. Furthermore, you must “Bench Prime” the unit by pouring clean engine oil into the top feed port and manually spinning the compressor wheel to lubricate the thrust bearings before the first engine start.
