When installing this 2.7L crankshaft, critical parameters include verifying the exact main journal clearance and ensuring the main bearing caps are torqued in a specific sequence to 167-177 Nm (17.0-18.0 kg-m). Using new main bolts is highly recommended to prevent spun bearings under load.
